...Six months and over

Once you have completed either our Puppy prep/junior or K9 College you may want to take your canine friend to the Uni Level.

The exercises in this course are advanced in their nature and require your pet to really concentrate and problem solve. You will teach your pet to negotiate an obstacle course using verbal and hand signal commands, understand and perform tricks , do long distance and hidden stays, recalls, drops, waits, sits and so much more.

Once your dog has finished Uni Level he/she is bound to be the smartest dog on the block!

One hour a week for 4 weeks

 ...for puppies 16 - 20 wks

Once your puppy has graduated from Puppy Junior it's time to build on those skills. Your puppy is also about to go through puberty and is changing physiologically. During adolescences s/he will begin to test their wings and see if the ’boundaries’ are still the same. This course allows you to keep practicing and fine-tune your puppy's skills and is a great chance to build on the relationship you and your puppy share.

One hour a week for 4 weeks

Training with Love group classes are limited to six dogs per class to ensure personalised focused attention. Before starting, we give you a special individual assessment of your dog's behaviour and discuss your needs.

• The whole family is welcome to join in, including children
• In group classes, your dog learns good manners and how to behave around other dogs and people
• Classes are tailored to fit each individual group

Some of the good manners your dog will learn include:

• come
• sit
• drop
• stay

• not to jump
• to be calm
• relaxed leash walking

With our courses you automatically receive:

• an information kit
• a clicker
• a Training with Love graduation certificate

Just as it is with children, it's so much easier to teach your puppy good manners from the start! Attending Puppy Prep is one of the most valuable and important things you can do to show your puppy how much you love him/her and your commitment to building on that relationship for life.

Having a puppy who is comfortable in all social situations will make you and your puppy's life easier, less stressful and more fun. The lessons you learn in Puppy Prep make it easy to take your canine family member out and about with you even when it grows into an adult.

This program will give you the tools, knowledge and ability to ensure your puppy is happy, well mannered, and trained in the basic skills of life.

One hour lesson once a week over 6 weeks

 ...for dogs from 3mths to Adults

Maybe your dog is now an adolescent or perhaps even an older dog with some behavioural issues. If your dog is past the puppy stage, but you'd still like to teach your canine pal some valuable socialisation skills K9 College is for you!

Whatever age your dog is, it IS possible to teach an old dog new tricks and turn your canine companion into a happy, well mannered member of your family!

Even more exciting is that you and your family will enjoy your time learning as much as your dog does. Your dog will be happier and feel more secure meaning that life will be much simpler for you and your family.

One hour a week for 6 weeks

If your dog's behaviour is contributing to an unpleasant life around your home, give Training with Love a call for a one on one consultation. We'll come to you and provide solutions for your doggy dilemma!

Some examples include:

• toilet training
• barking, jumping or digging
• destructive behaviour
• aggressive behaviour to visitors/strangers/other animals**

** If your pet has done a full puncture bite to a person or attacked and seriously injured another animal then we will refer you to a fully qualified Veterinary Behavioural Specialist.

If you and your dog don't have the time to attend training classes or would simply like to have our undivided attention, then Training with Love can come to you!
Private visits are held in the comfort of your own home, at a time that is convenient to you. Lessons are tailored to suit you and your dog's needs. You and your family will receive individual concise, caring, advice.

With a Training with Love private lesson we:

• design training strategies especially for you and your dog
• can address specific areas of concern
• give you the tools needed for you and your dog to have fun!
• will equip you with an information kit, a training 'clicker' and a free 15 minute after visit phone consultation.

A private visit can also help prepare your dog for changes in their home environment.
For example:

• prior to your baby's birth - specific strategies you can put in place to ensure the introduction of your new born baby to your canine family member is as stress free, smooth and easy as possible
• how to introduce a new pet - the introduction of a new pet can sometimes be the cause of stress and tension. If you are prepared in advance you and your pets will have a long happy life together.
