Meg, I want to thankyou for the wonderful work you do with training with love. I came along with my beautiful, exuberant and frisky kelpie cross, Honey, in a desperate attempt to regain some sense of control for myself and her. What I discovered was some simple and incredibly effective methods to communicate with my dog. It made such a difference to both of us, and helped my children to understand Honeys behaviour and how to act and react to her needs. She is still beautiful, exuberant and frisky, only now she can respond quickly and easily to some simple cues and behaviours that my family have learned.... and we enjoy each other so much more. This is Bluey, an 11 month old Blue Cattle x Kelpie, with his owners Yvonne and Dennis. Here, they’re taking him home to Kenilworth from Sippy Creek Animal Refuge in October 2006.
Bluey is a boisterous pup who needs lots of love and training. Dennis has owned dogs before, but I hadn’t, so in order to help me especially with Bluey’s training I contacted Meg at Training With Love earlier this year. We decided that private sessions would be best for Bluey, so Meg came to our home for them.
She has guided us gently through Bluey’s training with love and kindness. After a couple of Meg’s visits and us continuing with her methods, Bluey, Dennis and I have come a long way and learned a lot. He now gets on well with chooks and cattle, and is enjoying life here. We really appreciate the work Meg has put in with us and Bluey.
