HOW WE CAN HELP YOU AND YOUR DOG

As the name suggests, Training With Love teaches your dog good manners and socialisation skills using only positive reinforcement (+R) techniques without a check/choke collar, electric shock, smack or harsh word in sight. It is an easier, gentler way of teaching your beloved pet and your pet will enjoy it as much as you do!

Just like humans, dogs respond best to positive reinforcement. Training pets with (+R) is kind, humane, effective and most of all enormous fun. Aggressive teaching methods only encourage aggressive, shy or fearful dogs so it makes sense that Training with Love encourages loving, well behaved, socially responsible animals.

• design specific strategies to solve your dog's behavioural problems
• give you the knowledge and skills so that your dog can be a "Canine Good Citizen" and a joy to have around.

Why Training with Love is special

We want you and your dog to have a good time while learning, which is why we use 'Positive Reinforcement' rather than harsher, more traditional methods.

Best of all, many owners actually enjoy a closer bond with their dogs once they complete a Training with Love programme. Well trained dogs feel happy and more secure, and so naturally you will be happier too.

You will train and reward your pet for their good behaviour via a combination of games, treats, toys, scratches and cuddles.

 Some of the group training is done whilst you are comfortably seated and then, when up on your feet, you and your dog can enjoy playing training games or learn together whilst having fun on the obstacle course.

Group classes have no more than six dogs per class which lends itself to an intimate, friendly & calm atmosphere. You will learn massage techniques that help to relax your pet, how to understand dog body language and some important first aid tips.

 If you prefer, you can also choose the convenience of a private consultation where you and your dog can stay in the comfort of your own home. This means no need to travel, no need to set aside special times for training and a visit timed to suit your needs.
